This little angel is only 1 week old in these photos, exactly the right age for Newborn photos:)

I was so happy to get to try out a new beautiful blanket/wrap on this adorable little girl:)

And her lashes and lips, just perfect.

And in her happy place and snuggled up, lovely!

Great session, hopefully Daddy was pleasantly surprised:)

Rock the Beach | Family Photographer | What I See Photography

I was so excited to finally meet this family as we couldn't seem to coordinate our schedules, but when we did finally meet it was as if I had known them forever;)  They are all so full of life and energy, they were so ready to rock the beach (love what they were all wearing!).  This is a great example of coordinated outfits (not exactly matching).

This Mom & Dad have been married for 16yrs, can you believe that!?!?  Amazing:)  And they are simply great together!  The Mom has golden coloured eyes, beautiful!!

And they kids, were well...the kids;)  I love this next shot, I think it was after she pushed him in the back and then he was squishing her knee, super cute.

Okay the beach can be a bit windy, but OMG, I have never dealt with such powerful gusts of wind ever!  We tried up the beach, and down, still crazy, crazy wind!  Thank goodness these guys were up for anything and we tried to work with the wind.  LOVE this shot!!!!

The kids grow up so fast, so I always love to get a strong portrait.  Gorgeous!

Girl Power | Family Photographer | What I See Photography

Well there is no shortage of "Girl Power" in this family, with four girls 7yrs and under, this is a family where the girls rule;)  Honestly, this is one of the most amazing families I have ever met!  This Mom & Dad have the right ingredients for raising 4 beautiful and sweet little girls!

I'm starting with a fav, I absolutely LOVE this image.  It looks like a family circle with the reflection.

And now daughter #1 is the leader, a take action kind of kid.

And #2, super sweet, a more laid back mini-model type.

And then there is #3, she is full of energy and super busy;)

Okay now last, but not least baby girl #4, OMG soooo adorable and on the GO!

It was definitely not the nicest day at the beach, windy, cold and overcast, so great job working with the elements!!

Cowgirl | Children Photographer | What I See Photography

Well I had the pleasure of meeting little Miss "S" and her beautiful Mommy for a Maternity Session, it was a gorgeous day, so we took it outdoors and I'm so glad we did:)  I love these photos they are magic. 

You can only imagine how beautiful the new baby will be!  I wish I looked this amazing when I was pregnant, she is radiant.

And these next few are for Daddy, I hope he loves them:)  He bought his daughter these little cowboy boots and belt, bloody adorable!  Unfortunately he was in a bad accident a couple of days before the session, so he was unable to attend, but hopefully these will bring a smile to his face, while he recovers:)

He has definitely created a little Cowgirl, OMG she is super cute and of course always on the run....

We had Grandma as a special helper and she was great, I love when everyone works as a team, singing and being silly, look at the results:)

And then it was time to go, but not before one girly, girl shot in a sweet little green dress running through the daisies, LOVE it!!

What a great family!!!  Looking forward to the Newborn Session.

And I just have to say that Grandma is an AMAZINGLY talented container gardener!!  She came and filled 5 containers/pots with a beautiful selection of plants for my husband for a Father's Day surprise (I will post some photos later), let me tell you I haven't see him that happily surprised in years, ha!  Thanks Lesley!!

On the Run | Family Photographer | What I See Photography

Well this session was "Park Fun on the Run", but I didn't have enough space;)  We had the perfect ingredients for a great session, 2 children with lots of energy (check), 2 laid back parents (check), beautiful light (check), comfortable walking shoes (check), plenty of ideas to keep everyone busy (hmmm, I think I did okay).

A pretty little girl in a field of daisies, how could I go wrong?  BEAUTIFUL!!

And I had to think hard to get this little man still for one shot, so I filled the tree truck full of pine cones and well that lasted as long as it took to get this shot, ha!  Isn't he gorgeous!

A great family shot, the children busy picking daisies while the parents look on, so sweet!  If only there was a video of us trying to get this shot, ha, it would be hilarious!  I think we got there in the end, LOVE it!

And after all of our hard work it was time for some playground fun.
