New Email | What I See Photography

Here is the new email address for What I See Photography and Michelle Moore, info@whatisee.ca.  As it was such a quick decision to move to England I did not have a chance to change my email, contact info before I left.  I also am in the process of following up with outstanding orders and CDs in Canada.  I am in the middle of confirming the details and will send emails to those clients awaiting with detailed information for pick-up etc...

Thank you to everyone that knows me well enough to know that I have indeed had a very trying time with this move and I am not an evil villain.  We have been in England for 1 month now and it has been very shocking and challenging.  I must say I was more than overwhelmed and equally under prepared for this move.  Moving your family to a new country with new schools and helping to care for someone that is terminally ill are physically and emotionally debilitating.  I could never had anticipated the scale of change that this would involve.  Since we have arrived my mother-in-law had a massive stroke, I thought she was going to die (I had to personally call the ambulance), I have never been that close to death before.  She is now slowly recovering, she is so very weak and it is so incredibly sad.  Her Alzheimer's is completely a different challenge in itself, some days she knows us and some days she doesn't.  It makes you realize how incredibly short life really is and to embrace every moment of it.

I would like to apologize for my lack of contact.  I have not done anything professionally unethical, I am however guilty of putting my family first at this time in my life and my clients second.  My goal at this moment is to have my clients needs met within the next week, and I will work hard to make this happen.

Moving to England | What I See Photography

Well, it is official we are moving back to England for 1 year.  Just over a month ago we received news that my Mother-in-law (Kathleen) has terminal stomach cancer and with that we made the huge decision to pack up our family and move back to England to be with her.  This move is mixed with so many different emotions, it is both sad and exciting.  It has definitely been emotionally draining to say the least, but it also an opportunity to spend quality time with family.  My husband is one of eight children, so our children have 15 cousins (and one on the way) awaiting their arrival.  Kathleen is an amazing woman with an easy laugh, a twinkle in her eye and many, many stories to share.  Here is a photo of my husband with his Mom and siblings taken this past Christmas.

I am so fortunate to have such unbelievably understanding and patient clients, so for that I am truly grateful.  At this time I am concentrating my efforts on taking care of current clients, finishing up galleries, orders etc..., so your patience is appreciated when I am not able to return phone calls and emails right away.  I have been referring my clients to LucyLimeStudios (for Newborn/Baby/Family) and also Pix Productions (Children/Family/Lifestyle).  I am also very lucky to be able to refer my clients with confidence to these photographers, their work is brilliant, I can't say enough about how amazing and accommodating they have been.  I know they are booking quickly for Fall sessions, so please contact one of them now as to not be disappointed.

We are almost done packing up over 3000sq ft and years of "stuff", the kids are both nervous and excited.  We gave our dog to our neighbors last week (very sad), our fish will go this week and then my husband and the children fly out next week.  I am still awaiting my UK VISA, fingers crossed it will be through soon!  I don't want to miss the kids first day of school in a different country, now that would make me cry.  I can't say enough to thank all of our friends that have been super fantastic in helping with our move!!!

Funky Fresh Fun | Family Photographer | What I See Photography

Funky, fresh and fun is the best description I have for this family;)  They wanted bright, fun and exciting and they got it!  I love when the Mom & Dad are just as cool as the kids, although I don't think it is "cool" to say cool anymore;)  It started with these two beautiful people (who just happen to be just as gorgeous on the inside)....

And the family kept growing....

And growing....with handsome little Smithy as the latest addition, OMG he is a little handful, good thing he is extra cute!

Here is one family shot with Smithy that I think might be fine as he is not eating anyone or contorting his body like a wild animal;)

LOVE this light and...well the girls look good as well, I guess;)

And their gorgeous brother, who I managed to squeeze one or two great images out of;)

Beauty and brains, look out when this one starts dating!!  Danger alert;)

And let's admit it have you ever known a 9yr old to sit still for photos??  No, either have I, so this is a perfect reflection of Little "K", ha, LOVE it!

It looks like a bunny, but it is really just Smithy trying to attack me or eat the camera, I didn't wait around to see, lol;)

Thanks for such a great afternoon!!!

Family Time | Family Photographer | What I See Photography

This family have a very strong bond and it was important for them to capture their growing family.  And again we had some insane wind problems to deal with, so they did an amazing job trusting me and working with the elements.  It all started with this handsome couple.

And in time expanded into what it is today, one big happy, healthy, fun family!

It was great to see little "M" again and she has grown soooo much!  Such a beautiful little girl, and with an entourage of helpers singing and dancing behind me, I couldn't go wrong;)

Here are a couple of more favs from this session.  Mom, Dad, and their three "kids" ;)

I LOVE this one, just look at their expressions, pure joy!!

It was great to see you again Dawn, what a fantastic extended family you have, enjoy!!

Beautiful Bump | Maternity Photographer | What I See Photography

Having a baby is such a special time and big adventure, no matter what stage you are in your life, it is one of the most amazing experiences ever.  I was excited to meet this Mommy-to-be as she is a make-up artist and that is always a photographer's dream client:)  So, here she is looking picture perfect with her beautiful baby bump.

I have to say she was super organized and had brought a fantastic selection of clothes for the session, four brilliant outfits!!!  And she was a model Mommy;)

We went super sweet to a little more sexy....

And of course her make-up was perfect, honestly can she look any better????

So, here is the last studio shot before we took it outside for a few, working the curves, LOVE it!!

And then her man jumped in for a couple, super fun and happy!

Last, but not least, we took it to a quiet place:)

Enjoy the calm....I just an email that there are lots of contractions, so we could be seeing this baby sooner than you think;)
