Moving to England | What I See Photography

Well, it is official we are moving back to England for 1 year.  Just over a month ago we received news that my Mother-in-law (Kathleen) has terminal stomach cancer and with that we made the huge decision to pack up our family and move back to England to be with her.  This move is mixed with so many different emotions, it is both sad and exciting.  It has definitely been emotionally draining to say the least, but it also an opportunity to spend quality time with family.  My husband is one of eight children, so our children have 15 cousins (and one on the way) awaiting their arrival.  Kathleen is an amazing woman with an easy laugh, a twinkle in her eye and many, many stories to share.  Here is a photo of my husband with his Mom and siblings taken this past Christmas.

I am so fortunate to have such unbelievably understanding and patient clients, so for that I am truly grateful.  At this time I am concentrating my efforts on taking care of current clients, finishing up galleries, orders etc..., so your patience is appreciated when I am not able to return phone calls and emails right away.  I have been referring my clients to LucyLimeStudios (for Newborn/Baby/Family) and also Pix Productions (Children/Family/Lifestyle).  I am also very lucky to be able to refer my clients with confidence to these photographers, their work is brilliant, I can't say enough about how amazing and accommodating they have been.  I know they are booking quickly for Fall sessions, so please contact one of them now as to not be disappointed.

We are almost done packing up over 3000sq ft and years of "stuff", the kids are both nervous and excited.  We gave our dog to our neighbors last week (very sad), our fish will go this week and then my husband and the children fly out next week.  I am still awaiting my UK VISA, fingers crossed it will be through soon!  I don't want to miss the kids first day of school in a different country, now that would make me cry.  I can't say enough to thank all of our friends that have been super fantastic in helping with our move!!!
