Blue Eyed Blondes | Child Photographer | What I See Photography

Well this is my third blue eyed blonde client in a row, isn't she a babe?  She was just so much fun and super brilliant to work with, OMG, she makes me laugh!  For someone that is only about 3ft tall she had all of us wrapped around her little finger, ha, wish I had a video of this session:)

Don't be deceived by this fresh little face, she is a wild woman, ha, ha!  I have about one photo like this and then she was off!  This is one of the reasons that I insist on the outdoors for children sessions now, they need to move, run, discover, keep interested and first and foremost have fun!!!

Don't blink you might miss her;)

Excuse me...can you turn your cuteness down???  Honestly, just so super adorable!  Plus I want her outfit, I hate when my 3yr old client is dressed better than me:)

And look out because she released her inner super model, she had no shortage of different looks, there was innocent and fiece, oh Tyra Banks would be so proud;)

Fall Family Fun | Family Photographer | What I See Photography

Well it was a pleasure to meet this growning young family!  This session was a gift, which IMO is such a special timeless present to receive, the gift that can be treasured for years to come and actually gains value over time, so thoughtful:)  And for this family with a 2yr old and one on the way you can sometimes forget to stop and take it all in, so what a brilliant gift to receive:)  

They were so great to work with, especially as they had to brave the elements and the incredibly COLD weather we have been having, well done "P" Family, you are naturals in front of the camera!  And I am just loving these Autumn colors...just amazzzzing!

I adore a little girl with pig tails, so super duper sweet!  Isn't she just like her Mommy?  Beautiful girls:)  And loving those tiny little wooly boots!!!

And her she is with her handsome Daddy, in her happy place (in Daddy's arms), awwwww:)

There is something that all 2yr olds have in common...they like to run and run and snack and run;)  Here she is in action...

And here is one of the very few still shots I have of this blue eyed beauty, I would say her Daddy is going to have his hands full in about 10-15yrs, just saying;)

The Time of Your Life | Grad Photos | What I See Photography

I love, love, love Grad Photos (or Senior Sessions as they are called in the States), such a brilliant time of your life!!!  It is when you are leaving High School, going from "teen" to "adult" (well almost), driving, working, school, planning your path in life, so exciting and electric:)

I worked with Cody's sister a few years ago for her Grad Photos and now it was his turn and he was so super easy to work with.  We were so lucky to finally get a dry, clear day after many, many attempts, but I think well worth the wait.  So funny how he looks so young in some photos and so grown-up in others, I know his Mom will know exactly what I mean!

I love working in White Rock, such a beautiful backdrop and this location also holds many great memories of growing up for Cody, very important when looking back in years to come:)

He was just gorgeous and a pleasure to work with, a natural in front of the camera!

A big "THANK YOU" to his Mom for her patience while we kept trying for the perfect opportunity and for allowing me to capture the beginning of a new chapter in his life.  Honestly, I would be crazy proud to have raised such an amazing young man, well done!!!

Life is good, be happy!  Well these two certainly were full of happiness at this session, I LOVE finding that happy place with the children, there is always something that makes them giggle and laugh:)  SUPER SWEET!  Don't you just want to pinch those gorgeous chubby cheeks???  And his sister is just a doll...or should I say princess???  Her fav princess is Snow White, mine is Sleeping Beauty (for obvious reasons!).

Just too much cuteness for one session:)

It seems just like yesterday when I was photographing their Wedding and now they are one gorgeous little family unit:)  Just stunning!!!

I had to thrown in a few black and whites because I'm just in love with these...

Honestly, such a pleasure to spend the afternoon with all of you!  And you just know I have to end with a super fun and happy shot, ha!

Autumn Baby | Newborn Photographer | What I See Photography

My favourite time of year is Autumn!!!  It is always an exciting time with back to school, the Autumn colors, pumpkin everything, Thanksgiving, it is just all fresh and such a great buzz.  I think this sweet little man was just as excited as I was because he was wide awake, with not a yawn in sight, so here is a rare glimpse of a wide awake newbie:)  Isn't he beautiful???

We started with a few shots with his gorgeous parents and moved around to different rooms, trying to utilize all of their dreamy living space, such a pleasure to work in a home with so much style!  Everything was simply stunning!!!

At long last it was sleepy time for Baby "B", so we got to work:)  I LOVE that above yawning shot, so super sweet!!!  

He had some poses of his own, I love when a client is feeling inspired to try something new;)  Okay well technically Baby "B" was only doing a litte stretch, but I just ADORE this little moment captured!

And here is an image of someone that was most desperate to join the Newborn Session, so at the very end he gave me his best pose, love those eyes!
